The bar "2 Soul" was the location of the first DGAF Friendship party. About 20
people reserved their places to be a part of this party to make lots of friends.
Everyone was drinking, eating and walking around to meet new people. DGAF
sponsored this wonderful party and members left feeling as if they made a new true
friend. Both Japanese males and females as well as Non-Japanese males and
females showed up for this wonderful event. DGAF attempts to not make this a
"meet the foreigner" event, so every 30 minutes members were asked to change
seats so they would sit and talk to someone they didn't know whether it was a
Japanese person or a non-Japanese person.

After the first friendship party on June17th was full, new members kept sending
emails asking when the next party was, so for the first time DGAF planned another
party on June 23rd. This time the Kumamoto International Center was the location
for the party.

DGAF has started an annual yukata party. About 130 people,both Western and
Japanese people, attended the first annual yukata party in 2008.
